Council Approves First Step to Adopt 2025 State Building Codes

Elk Grove City Council took the first step Oct. 22 in adopting by reference the 2025 California Building Standards Code by approving the first reading of an ordinance incorporating those requirements, along with local amendments, into the city’s Municipal Code Title 16 relating to building and construction.
