ELK GROVE/GALT, CA (MPG) - Calling all elementary-school students in Elk Grove and Galt!
Submit original artwork to the 2025 Fire Prevention Week Youth Poster Contest for a chance to win a pizza party for your class, gift certificates and other prizes.
Fire Prevention Week takes place the first week of October. This year’s theme is “Charge into Fire Safety.”
Lithium-ion batteries are everywhere in our homes. It’s essential to know how to use, charge and recycle them properly, as well as recognize which household products (e.g., cell phones/tablets, scooters, vacuums) contain them.
