ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - Looking for an elegant way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend? Why not dive back into the Victorian Era at the Elk Grove Historical Society’s Spring Tea event?
The Elk Grove Historical Society is once again hosting the event on Saturday, May 10 in the garden next to the society’s museum.
Wear your best Victorian-age tea party attire and take part in hot and cold tea, lemonade, finger food lunch and dessert. There will also be a silent auction raffle and an exquisitely decorated gazebo for photo opportunities.
Held every year the Saturday prior to Mother’s Day, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Historical Society; Cost is $50 per person.
This year’s event theme is “Vintage Roses” and gates will open at 11 a.m. Valet parking is also available.
