Saturday, March 23: Welcome Spring at Sutter Creek’s Historic Knight Foundry

Historic Knight Foundry in Sutter Creek kicks off Springtime with this month’s 4th Saturday Tour Day, Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Experience the Foundry’s new innovative interactive self-guided tour, which combines an intriguing video, text, and in-person experience as you explore the Foundry complex. Saturday, March 23: Green Sand Molding & Foundry Practice Workshop at Knight Foundry

In this full-day, hands-on workshop, taught by a team of Knight Foundry’s own experts, you will experience every step of the foundry workflow, from preparing the sand to pouring your completed molds in aluminum and removing your finished castings. You’ll gain a wealth of foundry practice tips, tricks, and techniques that have been used since time immemorial. And you’ll take home the castings that you made on your day at the Foundry.
