Walk for Love. This community-driven event, put on by Shriners Children’s Northern California, aims to raise support and awareness for pediatric specialty care. The 1.5-mile walk and 5K both begin and end at their Folsom Clinic. It goes from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., with post-race food and fun. 

Whether participants choose to walk the 1.5 mile course or run the 5K, their participation in the 2026 Walk for Love celebrates freedom of movement, range of motion and dexterity – which are essential components of recovery for the children receiving treatment at Shriners Children’s Northern California.

Our specialists are dedicated to restoring children’s abilities to participate in the activities of childhood or helping them achieve milestone firsts: standing without assistance, taking steps without pain, cycling without guidance, and grasping or throwing without limits.
