18th Annual African American Genealogy Seminar
African American Genealogy Seminar will be held virtually on March 9, 2024. The workshop will provide information on how to research the family history of African Americans.

The 18th Annual African American Genealogy Seminar will be held virtually on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 8:30am-1:30pm pst.
Our keynote speaker is Ari Wilkins from Dallas, Texas. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Ms. Wilkins has been actively researching family history since 1998, specializing in African American research. She has had the honor to speak at the National Genealogical Society, Federation of Genealogical Societies, Texas State Genealogical Society, Ohio Genealogical Society, Institute of Genealogical and Historical Research, Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, American Library Association, RootsTech, and a multitude of local societies.
Our distinguished faculty and class list include Angela Walton Raji - Finding Native Americans in African American Families, Kathy Lynne Marshall - DNA Research, Michael Willis - Louisiana Research, Denise Griggs - United States Colored Troops, Antoine Fletcher - African Americans in the Great Smoky Mountains as well as Beginning Genealogy, Census Records and more.
