ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce is seeking local nonprofit organizations to participate in its Celebrate Non-Profits Chamber Mixer on Thursday, Oct. 1.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Elk Grove Historical Society, 9941 E. Stockton Blvd.

Nonprofit organizations will have an opportunity to host booths highlighting their services, programs and work in the Elk Grove community. The mixer is also intended to connect nonprofit representatives with local businesses, residents and other community organizations.

Vendor booth space costs $50 for Elk Grove Chamber members and $150 for nonmembers.

The event will be hosted by the Elk Grove Historical Society.

The Celebrate Non-Profits Chamber Mixer is part of the chamber’s efforts to provide local organizations with opportunities to connect with businesses and increase awareness of their work in the community.

According to event organizers, booth space is limited. Local nonprofit organizations interested in participating are encouraged to reserve space in advance.
