ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Cosumnes Community Services District will host a free Teen Pathways End of the Summer Bash from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 at the Barbara Morse Wackford Community & Aquatic Complex, 9014 Bruceville Road in Elk Grove.

The event is open to teens ages 12 to 17 and will offer an evening of swimming, food, music, games and other activities. The summer bash is intended to give local teens an opportunity to spend time with friends, meet other young people and celebrate the end of summer in an environment designed specifically for their age group.

Swimming and pool time will be among the main activities during the two-hour event. Food will also be available, along with music, games and additional activities planned throughout the evening.

Participants should bring their own swimwear and a towel. Because the event is designed exclusively for teens, parents and guardians will not be permitted to enter the event.

The Teen Pathways End of the Summer Bash is part of the Cosumnes Community Services District’s Teen Pathways programming, which provides activities and opportunities for young people in the community.

The event is free, but advance registration is required. Space may be limited, and families are encouraged to register participating teens ahead of the event.
