ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - Philz Coffee is opening a new store in Elk Grove, 8170 Elk Grove Blvd. Suite 100, marking the California-founded coffee brand's 83rd location.

Philz is expanding into one of Sacramento’s fastest-growing communities, as the city continues to see strong residential and retail growth alongside a rapidly evolving, vibrant population.

Located within The Village, Elk Grove’s thoughtfully designed open-air lifestyle center, the new Philz location offers convenient accessibility, serving the city's growing workforce and increasing demand for high-quality coffee experiences. Designed as a lively community destination, The Village brings together dining, shopping and social experiences in one dynamic gathering space.

The new Elk Grove location features seating for 27 guests and a custom three-panel mural by Oakland-based artist Alexandra Bowman. Known for her figurative illustrations and vibrant use of Philz's signature colors, Bowman's work celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of her community through visual storytelling, while naturally reflecting the Philz brand aesthetic. The mural also embodies Philz's founding philosophy and ongoing commitment to fostering human connection.

The three-panel mural reflects Philz's longstanding commitment to building meaningful connections, one cup at a time. Each panel highlights the sense of warmth, belonging, and genuine human connection that has always been central to the Philz experience. By weaving together diverse individuals and community-driven scenes, the mural captures the rich multicultural identity and welcoming, community-first spirit that define Philz Coffee.

Together, the space and artwork celebrate Elk Grove's multicultural identity while reflecting the inclusive, community-first spirit at the heart of Philz Coffee.

The grand opening will be at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 8 and will remain open until 4 p.m. Its regular hours are Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
