ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) – In a recent update, the city highlighted upcoming events taking place all-month long that are celebrating the diversity of Elk Grove residents. See below for event details.
Celebrate Juneteenth at Old Town Plaza
Join the Dreams Unlimited Foundation starting at 11 a.m. on June 13 at Old Town Plaza, 9615 Railroad St., to celebrate Juneteenth!
Bring your friends and family for a day of fun, music and community celebration. From local vendors and live entertainment to a special “Decades of Wisdom” celebration honoring residents ages 90 and older as well as handing out “Community Impact Awards.” The June 13 event will highlight the people, culture and milestones that make our community unique.
Creative Space is Back with Aloha Saturday
The Creative Space welcomes all to their Aloha Saturday event taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 20 at the Old Town Plaza.
Inspired by the pop-ups all around Hawaii, the Creative Space hopes to inspire a feeling of being one family on this big world called Earth. They’ll be bringing in Hawaiian cultures and inspired makers and crafters.

Celebrate Love and Diversity at Elk Grove Pride
Elk Grove Pride is a lively gathering featuring a range of activities, including art vendors, educational resources, live entertainment and food.
Taking place at Laguna Town Hall, 3020 Renwick Ave., from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, attendees can expect to find numerous local art vendor booths showcasing the talents of the LGBTQIA+ community. Live performances bring the event to life, featuring talented artists who entertain and inspire the crowd. Local food vendors will offer a range of delicious and diverse cuisine.
