Spring Palooza Poster Winners Honored

ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - Two high school students were recognized during the May 5
Elk Grove Unified School District board meeting for winning the Elk Grove
Spring Palooza poster contest themed “Bee A Pollinator.”
The Spring Palooza event, formerly known as the Western Festival, was held May 1 to 3 at Elk Grove Regional Park. Both students received T-shirts and a check in recognition of their participation.
First place went to Hui-Phuong Tran of Elk Grove High School, center left, who received $150. Runner-up Natalia Gujardo of Pleasant Grove High School, center right, received $100.
