ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Creative Space returns to town with its largest annual event, celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with the fifth annual Asian Pacific CultureFest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 17 at District 56, 8230 Civic Center Drive.

Hosted in partnership with the Sacramento Asian Pacific Cultural Village, the free, family-friendly festival celebrates the diversity of Asian American and Pacific Islander arts, culture, heritage and contributions.

 

The fifth annual Asian Pacific CultureFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 17 at District 56, 8230 Civic Center Drive, with a full day of live cultural performances, local artists and creative experiences for attendees

The city-sponsored event will feature more than 150 Asian American and Pacific Islander-owned small businesses and organizations, including food vendors, trucks, performers, presenters and live cooking demonstrations.

The Creative Space, a Sacramento-based organization, hosts craft markets throughout the year, often highlighting the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community. The 2026 festival will mark its fifth year and largest event.

Organizers expect one of the biggest turnouts yet, aiming to create not just a festival but a community celebration of creativity and culture.
