ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The city and local partners will offer a training and two listening sessions on immigration enforcement to support immigrant communities and allies. 

Attend a “Know Your Rights Presentation and UndocuAlly Training” provided by the Sacramento Fuel Network on Tuesday, April 7 at 3:30 at District56. This free one-hour training will provide legal knowledge on constitutional rights, regardless of status, and information on how to safely interact with federal immigration enforcement officials. 

The city will continue the conversation with the community during two Immigration Enforcement Listening Sessions scheduled on Tuesday, April 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. at District56 to address concerns, clarify enforcement roles and share resources.

These meetings will feature similar content and will be led by Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen, Councilmember Sergio Robles, Assistant City Manager Jaqui Guzmán and Elk Grove Chief of Police Bobby Davis. Choose the meeting time most convenient for you.
