ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - Elk Grove residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and give back to their community at Cosumnes Community Services District's Arbor Day Spring Clean-Up event on Saturday, April 11.

Volunteers will spend the morning helping to clean up two of Elk Grove’s beloved parks, Elk Grove Park and Baker Park, through hands-on projects such as tree planting, mulching, repainting and litter removal. It’s a great way to make a visible difference in local parks, connect with neighbors and celebrate the spirit of Arbor Day.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m., and advanced registration is required at CosumnesCSD.gov/volunteer.

After the work is finished, volunteers will gather at Elk Grove Park for lunch, games and an Arbor Day ceremony as Cosumnes CSD’s Parks & Recreation Department recognizes their efforts.

Sign up, lend a hand and help keep Elk Grove's parks beautiful for everyone to enjoy! Elk Grove Park is located at 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road and Baker Park is located at 8800 Elk Grove Blvd.
