ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - Congratulations to our Albiani Falcons Wrestling Team on their win in the 2025-26 EGUSD Championship Tournament!

This was truly a team effort, requiring all members to show up ready to do their best on the mat. While not every wrestler competed in the final lineup, every member of the team played a vital role in this success.

Those who did not wrestle in the tournament pushed their teammates every day in practice, helping sharpen skills, build toughness and raise the level of the entire program.

They were also there on championship day, cheering, supporting and standing behind their teammates on the mat. All team members played a big part in helping to prepare the best team to represent Albiani.

The wrestling team is coached by head coaches Kai Seto and Matt Seto and Assistant Coach Jake O’Connor. The final team score was a decisive 43-point win.

Representing our Albiani Falcons in the Championship Tournament were six seventh graders and twelve eighth graders, including four girls and 14 boys. Well done, Falcons!
