Lions Club Recognized with CSD Proclamation

ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Elk Grove Lions Club was honored by the Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) Board of Directors at its March 4 meeting in celebration of the nonprofit organization’s 75-year anniversary.
The proclamation noted that the Elk Grove Lions Club was established in 1951 and upheld the Lions’ motto, “We Serve,” by supporting more youth sports and activities, organizations and residents.
Cosumnes CSD posted to social media about the event noting the nonprofit’s commitment to the Elk Grove community.
“For 75 years, the Lions have displayed unwavering dedication to our community through service, support for youth programs and various initiatives that promote growth and civic pride,” the post read. “From organizing community events to providing meals at local gatherings, their contributions have made a lasting impact on Elk Grove.”
