City Offers Free Tech Training for Residents

Getting Started with ChatGPT (AI-101) is a non-technical course designed for everyone. No information technology (IT) or coding experience is required. In just 90 minutes, participants can unlock 16 weeks of essential content and build a skill that everyone will need moving forward.
Learn how to use ChatGPT safely and effectively to simplify your work, spark creativity and communicate with confidence in today’s digital world.
All you need is a computer, an internet connection and a free ChatGPT account. The cost of attendance is waived for Elk Grove residents.
To redeem the free course, residents should enroll through the Course Catalog by selecting Getting Started with ChatGPT (AI-101) course. After registering, participants choose a workshop date/time (Upcoming sessions are scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. March 13 and 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 30) and enter the code ELKGROVEAI at checkout.
