ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - On Dec. 1, Sky River Casino announced that voting for the 4th Annual Wreaths of Hope, a beloved holiday program designed to celebrate the season while supporting charitable organizations in the Elk Grove and Sacramento County communities. The initiative will result in $15,000 in donations to 10 participating local charities, showcasing Sky River Casino’s ongoing commitment to giving back.

On the morning of Nov. 18, representatives from the 10 nonprofit organizations gathered at 32 Brews Street in Sky River Casino to drop off their creatively decorated 48” holiday wreaths.

These wreaths are now displayed near the Cashier at Sky River Casino. Sky River Rewards members can vote now through Dec. 31 in person for their favorites once a day at any promotional kiosk.

As part of the program, Sky River Casino will donate a total of $15,000 to support local charities. Each organization will receive $1,000 for participating with the first-place wreath winner getting an additional $2,500, second place an additional $1,500 and third place an additional $1,000.

The 10 local nonprofits participating in this year’s program include Asian Resources Inc., Chicks in Crisis, Cosumnes Firefighters Community Support Foundation, Elk Grove Food Bank, End of Watch Fund, My Sister’s House, Paws for a Purpose, Project R.I.D.E., Runnin’ for Rhett and Wilton Animal Rescue.

Facenda. “The popular Wreaths of Hope program adds a festive element to the casino while providing much-needed funds to outstanding local organizations and giving our guests the chance to engage with the causes near and dear to their hearts.”

Wreaths of Hope will run from Dec. 1 to 31. Sky River Rewards members can vote once a day for their favorite wreaths at any promotional kiosk the month of December. Sky River Rewards members can vote by swiping their player’s card, touch “Promotion” onscreen and then select the Wreaths of Hope icon. From there, Sky River Rewards members can vote which wreath they want to choose by touching the picture of the wreath.

Sky River Casino was built by Wilton Rancheria in partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation, which is managing the property for the Tribe.
