ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Cosumnes Oaks Girls Tennis season has finished. The Girls Tennis team finished the season with a perfect 12-0 record to win the Delta League title.

Gabby Williams and Sydney Hsu defeated their teammates Gabriella Rosenthal and Hannah Alshaer to take the League Doubles title for the second year in a row.

Advancing again to the CIF SJS Division I Doubles tournament, Williams and Hsu defended their title by defeating Del Oro in the finals for a second year in a row to win their 3rd Division I CIF SJS doubles title.

To finish the season, Cosumnes Oaks advanced to the finals on Nov. 5 but lost to Del Oro in the CIF SJS Division II Championship at University of the Pacific. Cosumnes Oaks High School girls’ tennis coach Chris Wall said he is very proud of the team’s accomplishments this season.

“It is very special to win a CIF section title, and the team of Gabby and Sydney (both are juniors) have won three titles,” said Wall.
