Police Seek Armed Suspect in Fatal Pub Shooting

ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Elk Grove Police Department responded to the 8400 block of Elk Grove Florin Road, at the Z Town Gastro Bar, regarding a report of a shooting at 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 2.
Officers arrived at the location and discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, an 18-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire personnel transported the two victims, a 34-year-old man and 26-year-old man, to a local hospital. Shortly after, it was discovered there was a fourth victim: A 25-year-old man had driven himself to a hospital. The 34-year-old victim is in critical condition. The other two victims are in stable condition and expected to survive.
During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify 43-year-old Roderick Randall of Sacramento as the suspect in the shooting. Randall is considered armed and dangerous.
On a Nov. 5 press release, police noted that detectives investigating the shooting at Z Town Gastro Pub early Sunday morning, confirm that the incident stemmed from an argument between the suspect, Roderick Randall, and one of the victims.
There were four shooting victims; one died, two are expected to survive, one remains in critical condition. Police still do not know the relationship between the suspect and the victims.
On Nov. 4, detectives arrested Randall's girlfriend 25-year-old Thao Tran for being an accessory to a crime (Penal Code 32). Tran was booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail and is ineligible for bail.
Roderick Randall is still on the run. Detectives are actively working to locate him.
