Arts Center Features ‘Small Treasures’ and Elk Grove Through Your Lens

ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present “Small Treasures and Holiday Gifts” from Nov. 1 to Dec. 28 with First Saturday Public Receptions on Nov. 1 and Dec. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The center will also show a featured collection celebrating Elk Grove’s 25th Anniversary, “Elk Grove Through Your Lens,” Nov. 8 to 30, with a special reception on Nov. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m.
“‘Small Treasures’ is our most popular event of the year–a two-month exhibition of 5×7 panels in a series by local and regional artists. Over 200 works will fill the walls of the center this year with more than 50 participating artists,” said Elk Grove Fine Arts Center Marketing Director Heath Buckmaster.
“We are also thrilled to host Elk Grove’s 25th Anniversary photo contest, ‘Elk Grove Through Your Lens,’ Nov. 8 to 30. It’s presented by the new ARTS and Creative Economy Commission and hosted at the center. Guests will enjoy a special event reception on Nov. 8 when winners will be announced. There’s so much to enjoy as we close 2025 with two incredible exhibitions.”

Established as a nonprofit arts organization on Nov. 29, 2007, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is a place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and special events. The center presents monthly fine art exhibitions, regional art competitions, a gift shop featuring functional art and jewelry, First Saturday public art receptions, adult workshops in a variety of art mediums and the annual Elk Grove Festival of the Arts.
The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is located at 9020 Elk Grove Blvd., Suite 101. The galleries are open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for First Saturday Public Receptions from 4 to 7 p.m.
