SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is saying a heartfelt “thank you” to its riders by offering free rides systemwide on Tuesday, Oct. 21, as part of its month-long Customer Appreciation Month celebration.
Whether you’re commuting to work, heading to class or exploring the region, your ride is on us. All SacRT bus, light rail and SacRT GO paratransit services will be free for the entire day — no ticket, pass or flyer required.
“Our riders are the reason we do what we do,” said SacRT General Manager/CEO Henry Li. “Customer Appreciation Month is our opportunity to give back, connect with our community, and show our gratitude for the people who keep our system moving.”
Throughout October, SacRT is hosting a variety of events to celebrate its riders, including popup appreciation stations and special giveaways. Riders can also catch General Manager/CEO Henry Li on board the system during scheduled ride-alongs to share feedback and stories directly.
SacRT staff will be out at stations across the region handing out swag and connecting with riders.
Join Henry Li on the Blue Line (Oct. 21) and Gold Line (Oct. 28) for a chance to chat and share your transit experience.
