CRC Softball Puts 13 Players on All-America Scholar-Athlete Team

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - After a solid softball season with a third-place finish in the Big 8 Conference and another trip to post-season play, the Cosumnes River College softball team has also been taking care of business in the classroom.

This season, the Hawks put 13 players on the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete Team.

The players listed below were all recognized for having a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the 2024-25 school year. Cosumnes River College also had six additional players who finished above a 3.0 GPA for the year.

As a result, the Cosumnes River College softball team finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.588 and has been nominated as a top team academically in the California Community College ranks.

The 13 players and their majors are Victoria Babby (freshman), administration for justice; Heather Briggs (freshman), kinesiology; Kailee Colison (freshman), English; Charlize Fasula (freshman), kinesiology; Ariana Fuentes (freshman), elementary education; Isabella Hall (freshman), business administration; Brooke Hanson (sophomore), kinesiology; Bella Harpster (freshman), psychology; Kalani Hernandez (sophomore), psychology; Zoe Iverson (sophomore), business/construction management; Annabell Mendonsa (sophomore), psychology; Julea Mort (sophomore), business; and Abigail Woodfill (sophomore), kinesiology.
