ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce announced the four recipients of its 2024 businesses of the year awards on Jan. 8.
TrendE, a boutique store that sells women’s clothing and accessories, earned the Business of the Year award. $1 from every purchase at the boutique is donated to local charities.
Rise Women of Elk Grove earned the chamber’s Rookie Business of the Year award. The nonprofit’s goal is to promote spaces for women entrepreneurs, professionals and moms to support one another and network.

Also honored was Runnin’ for Rhett, a nonprofit that promotes health and fitness and organizes fundraising races. The nonprofit was created in honor of Rhett Seevers, the son of the organization’s founders, Randy and Beth Seevers. Seevers died on March 13 due to complications with Cerebral Palsy.
The businesses will be recognized at the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce’s 73rd annual chamber Gala on Jan. 24. The deadline to register for the event is Friday and tickets are $85 per person. They can be purchased at ElkGroveCA.com.
