ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - Car enthusiasts, including members of the Prosenity and Crescent Cruisers clubs, gathered Sept. 28 for their cars and coffee meet-up at the Elk Grove Commons shopping center at Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road.

The monthly, 90-minute gathering invites all clubs, makes and models, including motorcycles. The group also stages regular coffee cruises and out-of-town day trips, along with its parked events. 

Coordinator Jameel Najjar, who helped launch this no-brand gathering in 2022, said the social and charity aspects of the group are as important as the wheels they favor. Participants have gathered and distributed books, toys and backpacks to children and organizations.
