Public Meeting Will Discuss Possibly Combining Water Districts
Sep 17, 2024 04:27PM ● By Original CommunicationsSACRAMENTO AREA, CA (MPG) - The public is invited to an important community event co-hosted by the Sacramento Suburban Water District and the Del Paso Manor Water District on Tuesday, Sept. 24 to discuss a possible combination of the two water districts.
The Sept. 24 meeting, from 6 to 8 p.m., will cover the reasons for combining the districts, the latest developments, and provide an opportunity for customers to ask questions. Complete details are available at sswd.org and delpasomanorwd.org.
The Sept. 24 public meeting will be at the Mission Avenue Elementary School Multipurpose Room at 2925 Mission Ave., Carmichael.
In addition, the public is invited to attend Sacramento Suburban Water District’s fifth annual open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at 3701 Marconi Ave., Sacramento. Customers can chat with Sacramento Suburban Water District staff, management and board members, learn about planned improvements to the water system, find out about water-wise rebates, and be entered to win a weather-based sprinkler timer.
