ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - East Lawn Memorial Park took time out on Memorial Day, May 27, to thank all of those who have served our nation and to remember those who sacrificed their own future for our cherished freedoms.
Assisted by Elk Grove Boy Scout Troop 53 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Chung Mei Post 8358, the program included the posting of the colors, the singing of our national anthem, and the sacred prisoner of war table.
It was presented to more than 100 people, who enjoyed sharing their memories, the colorful flags, the grounds, and the refreshments.
