Centenarian Receives Key to The City

ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The City of Elk Grove recently honored Eola Bates with a Key to the City, one of the city’s highest honors.
Bates celebrated her 103rd birthday on April 20, surrounded by family and friends at a celebration at the Antioch Progressive Baptist Church, where Councilmember Darren Suen presented her with the Key to the City.
Bates lives with grandchildren in Elk Grove, and she loves to paint and read novels.
