Herd scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to win the non-league game. Loie Moore was three-for-three while Kaitlyn Maciel drove in a pair of runs. Freshman Kaylee Buck went the distance allowing two runs on eight hits for Elk Grove.

Ty Collum drove in five runs, while Jacob Halseth and Chris Deluca each had three RBI.
