The winning Elk Grove boys soccer squad that ended a 19-year playoff losing streak by defeating Kennedy Friday, 4-0.

Herd's Angad Singh scored twice in the first five minutes of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoff opener Friday and Elk Grove went on to its first playoff win in boys soccer in 19 seasons. Goals were also scored by Angelo Ghio and Ty DeLarosa.
