SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones today announced endorsements from Conservative Congressmen Tom McClintock, Doug LaMalfa, and Darrell Issa.

“It is significant that conservative Members of Congress, Tom McClintock, Doug LaMalfa and Darrell Issa have strongly endorsed Sheriff Scott Jones for Congress in the new CA-3 district. McClintock and LaMalfa currently represent nearly 80% of this district and have served this rural California region for nearly a decade,” said Jones Campaign Strategist Duane Dichiara.

Congressman Tom McClintock is a proven conservative leader who has served California’s historic gold country in Congress since 2009, representing a majority of the counties in the new 3rd district. Congressman Doug LaMalfa is a fourth-generation rice farmer and lifelong Northern California resident who has served in Congress since 2013, previously served in the California State Senate from 2010-2012, and in the State Assembly from 2002-2010. Congressman LaMalfa currently represents all or part of 11 counties including the counties of Placer, Nevada, Plumas, and Sierra that will be included in the new Congressional District 3, in which Sheriff Scott Jones is running for election.

Congressman Issa rejoined Congress in 2020.
