We are counting on you to help keep our community safe and to keep the Outdoor Downtown Program alive and well in Martinez!

MARTINEZ, CA (MPG) - Launched on June 12, 2020, the City of Martinez Outdoor program gives merchants the opportunity to provide outdoor dining and shopping experiences for their customers, while facilitating the physical distancing of patrons to comply with the current County Health Order.

By allowing businesses to use portions of City sidewalks, streets, and/or public and private parking lots during specified days and times to spread out their dining and retail services, the Program aims to give a boost to Martinez business owners.

The City is pleased to announce the following details for the ninth month of this economic recovery initiative. Beginning on Thursday, February 4th:

Outdoor Dining/Retail Display Active Permit Holders Include:

Bar Cava, Barrelista, Cue and Brew, Del Cielo, Five Suns, Lemongrass, Mighty Market, Nu Rays, Papi’s, Roxx on Main, Taco Daddy, and Whiskey Lane

Businesses can submit an Outdoor Dining/Retail Program No-Fee Application to request participation in the Program. For Application questions, please contact [email protected].

For this week’s Downtown Program Schedule and Street Closures, please refer to the attached map.

In addition to outdoor seating and retail, the City of Martinez has created 26 downtown curbside pickup spaces in 16 locations.
