This Sac-Joaquin Section league realignment proposal would try to make most conferences/leagues contain eight members. The next realignment committee meeting is Feb. 7 at the Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton.

John Hull has been with the Citizen sports department since 2007. His background is in radio and television then spent 15 years as a media production teacher at Cosumnes River College and Luther Burbank High School, retiring in 2019.
As featured on
All Elk Grove high schools would compete in the Delta League with the exception of Florin and Valley who would remain in the Greater Sacramento League.
