J.D. Davis (EGHS graduate) of the New York Mets went 1 for 1 with one home run, three RBI, one run and a walk on May 21 in the Mets’ 6-5 win over Washington.

David Hernandez (EGHS alum) of the Cincinnati Reds pitched two-thirds of an inning on May 22, giving up two hits, one earned run and striking out one in the Reds’ 11-9 loss to the Brewers.

David Freitas of the San Antonio Missions, the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, went 3 for 4 with one home run, two RBI ad one run on May 21 in San Antonio’s 11-4 loss to Round Rock.

Dom Nunez (EGHS alum) of the Albuquerque Isotopes, the Triple-A club of the Colorado Rockies, went 1 for 5 on May 21 9-2 loss to Las Vegas.

Jordan Johnson (Franklin High School alum) of the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A team for Cincinnati, pitched four and two-thirds innings on May 18 and gave up five hits, three earned runs and three walks, and struck out seven in picking up the loss in the Lookouts’ 6-1 loss to Biloxi.

Dylan Carlson (EGHS graduate) of the Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, walked on May 22 in the Cardinals’ 9-7 loss to Tulsa.

Matt Manning (Sheldon High School alum) pitched six and two-thirds of an inning on May 21 and gave up just two hits and two walks while striking out 10 to earn his fourth win of the year in Erie’s 4-0 win over Hartford.

Derek Hill (EGHS graduate) of the Erie SeaWolves, went 1 for 4 with one run on May 22 in Erie’s 3-1 loss to Hartford.

Nick Madrigal (Elk Grove High School graduate) of the Winston-Salem Dash, the Class A-Advanced Carolina League team of the Chicago White Sox, went 1 for 5 with one run on May 22 in Winston-Salem’s 4-3 win over Fayetteville.
