Junior Wildcats Basketball Camp
The 3rd Annual Junior Wildcats Summer Basketball Skills Camp is open to boys and girls entering 3rd-7th grade in the 2018-19 school year. The camp will be divided into skill & age divisions and limited to 80 participants to maximize learning. The focus of the camp will be teaching fundamental skills in an enthusiastic and positive environment.
Led by Franklin High School’s varsity boys’ basketball coach, Ken Manfredi, campers will receive individual and group instruction from the coaching staff and varsity players. Skill instruction will include shooting, dribbling, passing, footwork, offensive moves, rebounding, and individual and team defense. Campers will also be introduced to the core values of the Franklin basketball program: Attitude, Effort, and Skill. Through instructional stations, organized team play, skills competitions, and guest speakers, this camp will help develop each participant’s skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
Campers receive 15 hours of instruction, a reversible jersey, basketball, and an individual photo.
