Miriam Naomi Gorman

Mimi, as everyone called her, was born on October 16, 1926 and passed away peacefully on January 26, 2020 in Elk Grove. Mimi was born and raised in San Francisco. She was a long-time resident of Elk Grove.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Selma Stein and her husband Arthur  Gorman. She is survived by her four children, Barry Gorman, Judie Gorman, Cheryl Voris, and Lori Douglas and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her sister Lenore Karp.

Even though Mimi was fairly active at 93, her family was the center of her life. Mimi was the matriarch of the family and that role will never be replaced.
