Mary Ann (Micki) Stevens, age 79, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center in Sacramento. Micki was born on November 28, 1939 in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of Anton and Delores Mikalowsky. She graduated from St Mary's nursing school in Madison WI and worked as a registered nurse for the next 45 years until she retired from nursing in 2006. Micki married Dale Stevens, Beloit WI, on August 25, 1962 in Sheboygan, WI. Micki and Dale settled in Sacramento CA in 1965 and in 1976 moved to Elk Grove CA. She enjoyed bowling, loved watching sports especially the Chicago Cub games. Most of all loved being a wife and mom to her three sons and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Dale Stevens of Elk Grove, sons Michael (Kathy) of Pollock Pines, CA, Tim (Leigh) of Cupertino, CA and Greg of Elk Grove, CA, grandkids, Erik (Megan), Lacie, Meko, Savannah, Jovi and Chance and one great grand daughter, Brinley Rose.

Those we love don't go away

They walk beside us everyday

Unseen, unheard but always near

Still loved still missed and very dear

We remember you now with undying love

As you watch over us from up above

Your time with us has come to an end

But cherished evermore as wife, mother and friend

Memorial service will be held on January 31st at St Josephs Catholic Church, Elk Grove, where she attended for 42 years. Visitation, Rosary and Mass with Monsignor O'Conner officiating will begin at 9:00am followed immediately by a Reception in the Church Hall at 12:00pm.
