Margaret Susich, 88, died Jan. 26, 2019 at her home in Sacramento. She was born June 1, 1930 in North Dakota and moved to this area in 1931, living in Lodi during the 1950s, in Galt between 1960 and the 1990s, and Elk Grove from the 1990s to the present.
Margaret spent her years as a homemaker. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1942, most recently in the Vintage Park congregation. She and her husband Frank enjoyed building many houses and Kingdom Halls, as well as sharing in the volunteer Bible ministry.
Surviving her are her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Richard Legnon of Elk Grove; granddaughters, Jennifer Susich of Los Angeles, Aneishka Susich of Elk Grove, Jenelle and husband Brad Conable of Fairfield, and Jenesia and husband Ryan Rossman of Wall Kill, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law Robert and June Bippus of Fresno; daughter-in-law Carol Bippus of Orland; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Margaret was held on Sunday, Feb. 10 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 9436 Calvine Road in Sacramento, with Bro. Ron Harbeck officiating.
