Inez B. Santos

On April 10, 2020, Inez B. Santos went to be with the Lord where she was reunited with her beloved husband, Buddy and their eldest son, E.J. Santos. She leaves a legacy of love to her son James, her son Richard (Alice), grandchildren Anna and Emily Santos, her daughter Myra Nolan (Jim), grandchildren Michael, James, Eric, Michelle and Angela and great grandchildren Nolan, Eli and Carson, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Inez was a devoted wife, mother and grandma, a doting auntie and cousin, an ideal daughter, a sweet sister and a true friend. She lived and loved to make people happy. Grateful until her last breath, she always stayed positive and kind. She loved music and loved to sing along with the radio, CD's and her TV.

Born in Hawaii in June of 1925, she survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. After the war, she married her true love, Buddy and they moved to Hayward, California in 1961. She was very involved in her church, scouting and sewing. Her children were her life and she loved them more than anything and that love continued as the grandchildren came along. She loved her flowers and working in her yard. An excellent cook and housekeeper, she loved to entertain and loved shopping.

Her family is very grateful to Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove. She resided there after moving here in 2014.  The staff was always so wonderful to her and she loved everyone there with a smile and big “thank you”.

She will be missed by everyone who met her. A celebration of life will be announced at a further date.
