Glen H. Womack Jr.

On Thursday, April 28, 2021 Glen H. Womack Jr., loving husband and father passed away at the age of 89.

Glen was born on August 13, 1931 in Sacramento, CA to

Glen Sr. and Margaret  Womack of Elk Grove, CA. After growing up in Elk Grove Glen enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1951 and served his country in the Korean War until 1954. On July 31, 1955 he married Betty Sunzeri and raised one son, Bryan Womack. Glen and Betty were married for 65 years. Glen worked for the State of      California as a system analyst for 38 years. He had a long list of hobbies from tooling leather, brick work,     golfing, and diving for abalone just to name a few. He also had a strong passion for collectibles and art work. He was a member of the Elk Grove Senior Center and looked forward to his weekly bridge games. Glen was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Womack, granddaughter, Annie Womack, and niece, Debbie Baker. He is survived by his wife Betty, son, Bryan, granddaughter, Melissa, sister, Yvonne  Yarbrough and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Glen will be        interred at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. on June 3, 2021. Due to current covid         restrictions, attendance is limited to immediate family but a Celebration of Life Memorial is scheduled for June 5, 2021 at the Center Township VFW Post 6158 in         FairOaks, CA. 8990 Kruitof Way, starting at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
