Donna McAnlis

Our dear mother Donna Grace McAnlis, born on June 1, 1932, in Los   Angeles, California, passed away at age 86 on February 13, 2019, in Elk Grove, California.

Donna was the beloved wife of the late David E. McAnlis, Sr.. Donna and her husband Dave were members of the Creekside Church of Elk Grove. Donna, or Grandma Mac, as she was known to her family, loved reading, completing the NYT crosswords, playing card games, and traveling (especially cruising), but most of all, she loved being with and entertaining her large family and many friends.

Donna is survived by their son, David (Julann) E. McAnlis, Jr.; daughters, Pam Gudel, Susan (Rex) Olson, Sharon (Dave) Huisman, Linda (Robert) Van   Allen, Kim (Mike) Archambault, and adopted son and daughter, Richard and Charlene Van Allen; grandchildren, Jackson (Sierra) Gudel, Noah Gudel, James Gudel, Ryan (Cathy) Olson, Megan (DA) Eddy, Eric (Audrey) Olson, Chris (Stephanie) Huisman, Janine Huisman, Hannah (David) Walter, Heidi (Joseph) Van Yang, Shelly (Kurt) Van Allen, Michael (Asheena) Archambault, Katie (AJ) Trimble, Brigit McAnlis, Connor McAnlis, Finlay McAnlis, and Isabelle Van Allen; and great-grandchildren, Rhylee, Luke, and Cody Gudel, Brendan and Emily Olson, Christopher and Joshua Eddy, Levin Olson, Matthew, Justin, and Aaron Huisman, Tristan and Elena Walter, Josephine Van Yang, Madison, Benjamin, Abigail and Amy Archambault, and Wyatt Trimble.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate that donations be made in Donna's name to the Franklin   Library at https://sac A private memorial celebration will be held by the family.
