The Rotary Club of Elk Grove’s 16th Annual Beef and Reef Bash Dinner may be over, but the bidding continues.

“This event is our club’s primary source of working capital for the year, and proceeds raised allow the Rotary Club of Elk Grove to provide funding for a variety of community and international service projects,” Club President Maryl Lee said. “Over the past 16 years, this event has raised nearly $900,000 for various community and international projects and causes.”

Around 1,000 dinners were sold for this past Saturday’s Beef and Reef Fundraiser.  Many picked up their meals (tri-tip, shrimp, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls & fruit cobbler) to enjoy at home.  Several others dined under the stars at the Lent Ranch Barn, listening to music and bidding on scrumptious desserts. Also, in true Rotary fashion, numerous dinners were donated to those in need throughout our community. A delicious time was had by all.

Bu there is still time to get in on the action.  Our Silent Auction is online, but you need to be quick since it will close on Oct. 2 at noon.

Stop by at: Some of the live auction packages include a six-night stay at an all-Suite Resort just minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, four nights at a beautiful home in South Lake Tahoe, golf packages, electronics, artwork, and much more.

Thank you once again for your support of the Rotary Club of Elk Grove and our community. We look forward to continuing our mission of service both locally and globally.
