Football Pick'em Contest
Members of the Elk Grove community and sports editor Jon Gudel will compete in weekly picks of high school, college and NFL football games. Wins and losses will be tabulated throughout the season and concludes with the Super Bowl on Feb. 7. Scott Gradin is the defending champion. Mike Cody won the 2007-08 title, and Dan Elliott won the inaugural contest in 2006-07.

" Relax- EG Football will be fine. Every new coach has his challenges. This particular team lacks in talent, so maybe the old regime may have gotten 2 more wins, still would not have gone very far with this team. "
