Stonelake Vine and Spirits, in the Stonelake Landing Shopping Center, features a very complete selection of wines, liquors and beers. Owner-manager Bill Shehadeh said Stonelake Vine and Spirits is one of the most well stocked beverage centers in the Sacramento area.
“We are serving Elk Grove, Laguna, in fact the whole South Sacramento area,” said Shehadeh.
“Stonelake Vine and Spirits features one of the biggest selection of Belgian beers anywhere,” commented Shehadeh. “Belgian beers have become very popular. In fact, Belgians really know how to make beers. Drinking Belgian beer is an experience.”
He said that Stonelake Vine and Spirits carries all the famous boutique and low production specialty wines. Among those famed brands are Kistler, Duckhorn Vineyards and Silver Oak.
“We are planning a special patio for wine tasting that will be very appealing for wine lovers,” stated Shehadeh.
As for liquor, Shehadeh said Stonelake Vine and Spirits carries the most extensive selection of single malts, bourbons, Tequilas and vodkas, in addition to liqueurs.
He pointed out that quality is important for individual tastes.
“We also feature hand rolled cigars,” said Shehadeh “Cigar enjoyment is growing and we feature the top brands along with specialty offerings.”
Stonelake Vine and Spirits is family owned. Shehadeh launched his beverage supply career in San Francisco in the early 1970s. For 12 years, the family operated a store in the Pocket area at Windbridge and Rush River. Also Shehadeh operated a well-received store in the Natomas area near Arco Arena.
Another feature Shehadeh stressed was that Stonelake Vine and Spirits creates artistic gift baskets. Also offered is a large stock of candy and sodas.
“This is the business we know best,” he commented. We are a community as well as a neighborhood store. When we open a business in an area we plan to stay there a long time.”
